Gregg K. Tipton, Oct. 11, 1954 - Jan. 25, 2011
Steamboat Springs, Colorado
Married to Michelle Isaeff, 18 yrs, Son-Zeb, 16 yr. old.
Gregg lived the life of a Mountain Man in Colorado, doing what he loved: hunting, fishing, skiing and camping.
Gregg was Outfitter/owner of Green River Drifters, Dutch John, UT. Gregg was an excellent Fly-fishing guide on the Green.
Prior to fly-fishing, he was a raft guide on the Middle Fk.,Salmon River, Idaho for many seasons.
He was on the National Ski Patrol for 33 yrs, Steamboat Springs, CO. An active Ski Patroller after graduating from CSU, Ft. Collins in '77 to present date.
Gregg suffered a stroke, due to complications of surgery on Dec. 26th, 2010. He was Flight for Life helicopter from Steamboat Springs to Loveland, CO, where he was treated for stroke & infection. Although Gregg fought hard to stay alive, his body was overtaken with severe brain trauma.
Gregg passed peacefully on Jan. 25th, 20ll with his family by his side: Michelle (wife), Zeb (son), Jill (sister), Terri (friend).
